Camp Turner’s American Camp Association accreditation, achieved in late 2024, offers parents added peace of mind knowing their child’s camp experience meets the highest national standards for safety, staff training, programming, and operations.
As the only national accrediting body for camps of all types, the ACA sets rigorous, independently reviewed benchmarks—making this accreditation a meaningful assurance that Camp Turner is committed to providing a safe, high-quality, and well-managed environment where young people can thrive.

The ACA's program is designed to strengthen camps from the inside out by educating camp owners and directors on the most critical aspects of camp operations, especially program quality and the health and safety of campers and staff.
Through this process, Camp Turner has adopted comprehensive, nationally recognized standards that guide essential policies, procedures, and best practices, with an ongoing responsibility to uphold and implement them each year. Doing so reinforces our decades-long commitment to providing a safe, well-run, and enriching experience for each and every camper.
