New in 2021: family camp week!

Sunday, Aug. 15, 4 pm - Friday, Aug. 20, noon
Cabin rentals for families (and dogs).  Optional breakfast and lunch.  Supplies and some formal programming will also be offered.  $600 per unit (+food option).  More information is below.  Register today using our summer camp registration system.

June 27 - July 7:  Counselors-In-Training (Ages 16+) (includes staff training & Session A ... $199. May lead to employment)

July 4 - 8 Session A, Heroes and Villains (Mini Session), Sun. 2 PM  - Thursday 6 PM, Ages 7 - 13, $399

          If you could have any superpower, what would it be? Perfect your powers and discover your inner superhero. Dive into the fantastical world of Heroes and Villains with this special mini session designed for younger and first time campers. Enjoy activities with the camper's own cabin group of the same age and gender. Heroes will have the opportunity to test out their skills in archery, horseback riding, survival skills, and more. Competition is very limited and there are no awards programs to fret about. 

July 11 - 16 Session B, Adventure Week, Sunday 2 PM - Friday 6 PM, Ages 8 - 15. $499

          Embark on an adventure like never before. Show your adventurous side with extra opportunities to get outside and explore nature on hikes, creek-walks, scavenger hunts, and many more expeditions. Hone your survival skills and nature knowledge during this week-long outdoor extravaganza. And the adventuring doesn’t have to stop when the sun goes down! Enjoy late-night stargazing and campfires with your cabin. Adventure awaits! 

July 18 - 23 Session C, Christmas Week, Sunday 2 PM - Friday 6 PM, Ages 8 - 15. $499

          Who said that Christmas can only come once per year? "Deck the Halls" of Camp Turner with Christmas caroling, "midnight" Mass, ornament making, and other festive activities. Campers will get a chance to direct and star in their very own Christmas play, and enjoy winter themed fun in the heat of the summer. Come celebrate with us and learn the true spirit of Christmas… in July.

          Grab your lab coats and beakers, this week is all about science! Become a chemist while experimenting with slime. Channel your inner rocket scientist to build, design, and launch your own mini rockets. Observe constellations with late night stargazing, and discover the science all around us with creek walks, nature hikes, and fossil hunting. Come join us for a week filled with experiments, inventions, and tons of fun!

          Join us this week for sports galore! Compete with your friends in all of your favorite camp games, with extra sports clubs this week. There will be no shortage of gaga ball, 9-square in the air, dodgeball, soccer, basketball, 4-square, kickball, hockey, disc golf, and more! Make sure to keep the games going indoors with board games, ping-pong, and darts. Work as a team to conquer obstacle courses and challenges during this sports-filled week of fun!

          Become a cadet at CT Spy Academy this week! Decipher riddles, try out disguises, crack secret codes, and experiment with invisible ink during this special secret session. Be a forensic analyst, looking for fingerprints and using a black light to find clues. Or, join the secret agents to navigate obstacle courses and find the culprits. There are sure to be many twists and turns as we learn to be spies and solve mysteries. We need your help at the CT Spy Academy!

          Your stay includes:
          -Lodging for 1 family - limited to people currently living in the same household.
          -Optional Five Day Meal Packages (Bagged lunches distributed at breakfast.)

          -Use of camp program supplies (as approved by NY State Guidelines) in your free time.
          -Some optional programming for the kids.
          -Guests must agree to follow current Covid guidelines that are in effect at the time of arrival.
          -Pets are welcome with proof of current vaccinations, leash, and scooper.  Pets must be on 6’ leash at all times.
          -Optional daily morning and evening prayer will also be offered.
          -The camp store, Canteen, will open twice a day for snacks, souvenirs, ice and firewood purchases.
            (Firewood=1 wagon load $25.  Wagon is 4' x 2' x 1.5 feet.)
          -Cabins are duplexes and share 1 common wall and a common porch.  Guests are encouraged to sign up with another family they know and are comfortable being next to.  However, families must maintain social distance at all times. Let us know who you want to be paired next to.  Each unit accommodates up to 10 people from the same household ONLY.  Beds have inner spring mattresses and anti-microbial coatings.  Each unit is intended for only one family that is from the same household to ensure social distancing.  Quiet hours will be enforced from 11 pm through 8 am. 

          -Other things to do at camp as a family include:  outdoor ping pong, horseshoes, ladder golf, corn hole, bocce ball, pickle ball, disc golf, basketball, and badminton. Equipment will be checked out with our Program Director and checked back in between families for sanitizing.  Participants are required to wear a face mask when 6’ of social distance cannot be maintained.
           -Things to do in the park: Swimming available at beach, 18 hiking trails, fishing (license required), park naturalist programs by reservation available, birding, playgrounds will be open, you are encouraged to bring your own kayaks, canoes and bicycles with locks.
