Camp Turner’s first session of the summer is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for older teens to experience camp in a whole new way. Open to young people ages 16 (with prior camp experience) or 17 (without experience), this session offers the full Camp Turner experience — all the traditions, activities, and community that make camp unforgettable — while inviting participants to step into a greater role of leadership and responsibility.

 

Designed as a training ground for future counselors, this session blends classic camp fun with hands-on learning and mentorship. Participants build confidence, deepen their faith, and develop essential skills in teamwork, communication, and leadership, all while forming strong bonds with peers and staff. It’s the perfect bridge between being a camper and becoming a counselor ... and the first step toward giving back to the camp community that has given so much!
